Video games good Airsoft training?
So what games do people relate to airsoft the most?
Planetside isn't on the list?

LoL... sorry, didn't think of planetside... haven't played it.
I would say Counter Strike is the cloest thing to AirSoft in a video game, all the guns in the game are in AirSoft, and you have random cheaters.
COUNTER-STRIKE??? NO WAY. what with the shooting through walls even without hacks.....Battlefield:Vietnam for me man, that shit rocks the planet with realism....
only 10 options for the poll...
I get my training just running around in the ghetto with the 'MACHETTE'

I would have to say OFP. You can do just about anything in there, except you will be dead tired trying to traverse the islands without a vehicle.
"Live on your feet or die living in the prone." -GySgt Newton
I wouldn't say any tom clancy shooter because I don't happen to think that rainbow 6 is very realistically balanced.
Meet every day like a swift kick to the groin
I would have to go with BF VietNam, the fact that the action is constant, and you have a butt load of respawns, it just reeks of airsoft.
i would say desert combat mod for BF1942(since its like BFVN but modern weapons and the iraq conflict) or Operation flashpoint also.
oh yea and planet side and WWIIonline i never could get behind the games iwth monthly charge fees... seems too greedy.

wait so 2000 people are on one game basically? so you can go from town to town in europe with a hundred people in each town? i guessif its like that its cool. I didnt look into it much due to the fee, thought it was like any normal game, someone who bought it puts up a server. I guess if they have servers up already and you float through a whole entire linked battlefield of europe its cool, but then wouldnt stuff get all screwey.....? a group of allies could move to germany while germans are still defending french beachheads from allies landing, then those allies at germany could strike from behind in tanks they had? making it no where near what happened???
"With monthly fees and complicated gameplay it keeps the random idoits who fill normal FPS servers out!... You end up with 30,000-100,000 hardcore gamers playing against each other, and working in "REAL" teams..."
Dave the way it works is, you have Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, and England. You as the player pick which side you want to fight for. Allies: Britan or France, AXIS: German, you can start out in the Navy, AirForce, or Army. Then from there you branch off to a specfic MOS, Tanker, Artiallry, Infantry, Support "Driving troop Trucks etc", Support Boats, Gun Boats "PT Boats.." Destroyers etc, Fighters or bombers, then you move up in rank... The battles are normally about 20-500 using tanks, infantry, at, aaa, air, to take out just small towns and villages.
very interesting.... well i got the game and have been having a lot of fun.
sounds like a fun ass game......i wish they would make a game like that with better graphics and stuff tho.....like a boxed game with a whole bunch of great graphics and extreme detail, and as well as important landmark locations...
full spectre warrior is the most realistic video game i've played. teaches you a lot because the army helped the making of it. Second most realistic game...Ghost Recon series

By putting in this code HA2P1PY9TUR5TLE in the menu screen you can unlock the military version and see what it is like for yourself. Not sure if it is the "full" military version of FSW but something is there.
Now all I need is an xbox :D
lol chaos..... better graphics on WWIIOL, LOL! that would mean everyone playing it would have to have recent computer hardware or else it would just be a choppy lagfest.

jeff, once u get ur hands on joint ops: typhoon rising, lemme know how that thing plays PLEASE. i want to find out how awesome it turns out.....
The Joint Ops demos were a lot of fun if you had a PC that could run them. The 1st public beta was huge. If you didn't get a bird or a boat to give you a ride you were in for a long swim.
