RC question.
hey all , i am getting into the RC scene , and i picked up a HPI Micro RS4 drift series car from my local hobby shop, and it has like hard plastic wheels , where can i find ones that are like foam or rubber that have better traction that will fit?
what size are the wheels? get ruler and measure length across!

i think they are 140-150mm , thats what this website said , and i have hard ABS tires , but i want to get drift action with a bit more control and more traction, so foam or softer rubber??
with foam you'll have some. depends really on what your "drifting" on. like wood or smooth concrete i'd go with foarm but for asphalt/dirt i'd go with rubber.

foam back rubber front you'd get the "drift" effect more then rubber back foam front. if foam were in front and rubbewr in back you'd turn going fast, your foam would slide and rubber would go strait.

I get what your saying now, so ill pick up 4 foam , and 4 rubber , and try different combos , and see how they all work out. thanks for the help

alright , no clue what you just said , but i think you said foam=no drift , get a new brushless motor and controller, only got like 60 bucks to spend though, and i want to drive it outside , without worrying about F'ing up the tires...
Im a newb to rc "drifting" but foam tires wore way fast on my old associated buggy(on the street).
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
What bijar is looking for is a bit more traction than the stock ABS wheels. Clear tape is just gonna take away traction.

well ,i want something that wont get all f'ed up by driving it in the street. like these ABS ones , are all ascratched and gouged from my street , so i was going to use some foam tires for indoors , and rubber for outdoors , and ill try to pick up a mamba , but i dont no jack on how to install it or what it even would do lol.
