MK23 Questions

Dec 29, 2006 12:14am
Im on the market for a TM MK23, and had a couple questions for you MK23 owners. Where is the best place to order them from? Im looking for a retailer that will leave the foam in the silencer and use orange paint that is easily removed. Also, doesn't permanently burn out the trades. Also wondering if there are any drop leg holsters that can fit the MK23 with silencer and LAM on it, or just silencer, the LAM isn't that important. Thanks in advance.

precision airsoft in oregon, they use putty and only orange on the threads, leaving the foam in. Its much more expensive to get from them then from the ebay guy but you'd get what you want. Dropleg you can get from the ebay guy (do a search). They're kinda cheap but they hold the silencer in a pouch or on the gun, and two extra mags. The gun stays better and you wont' loose any mags with the LAM on

uncompany leaves the foam in and spays only the threads aswell, which comes off when you thread the silencer.

Can the rail fit anything other than the LAM? Say a GP M3 Tac Light?

theres a $50 attachment you can buy from nine ball that lets you use anything that fits on a normal rail

poweredge sells mk23's the cheapest including shipping. they cover their trades with metallic tape that comes off easy. orange on the threads but that's easily removed with acetone. silencer is untouched.

i think their pics are outdated...but yeah, when i got mine from them it only had orange on the threads. so...assuming they are consistent with how they handle trades and such, there shouldn't be any orange. but again, the paint can be removed with acetone so even if it is on there it's not a big deal.

The ebay holster fits the gun and LAM just fine, in fact i wouldn't use it without the LAM because its looser and more prone to jiggling around and hitting the mag release.

yeah that's what i hear about STTI mags. they apparently take green gas better than marui mags cause marui mags have a pressure bleed valve that wears down if you put green gas in them.

Where is the best place to buy STTi mags from? PowerEdge is out of stock and said they wont restock until Spring 07. And what about these: http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=MAG_GP_Matrix_MK23&Category_Code=
