I'm looking for either a serpa retention type or a fobus holster for a 1911 that can attach to a molle vest... where can i get one??? i need to be able to pay via paypal.. thanks guys
try postin in the Private Seller section. Also...I didn't think they made crossdraw or MOLLE holsters....
I don't know about fobus but for the serpa you'll need to get the serpa holster and the molle adapter from BHI. In all honesty you're better off using a drop leg. Transitioning from a chest rig/vest is far slower then a drop leg, your chances of getting it caught or tangled in your own stuff is much greater, unnecessary weight on your shoulder and backs, and the list goes on.

+1 and i dont recomend a 3 point sling with a cross draw style vest, when u sling your rifle it convinetly covers wherre your pistol is lol.
if you really want one on your vest Tactical tailor sells a MOLLE 45 degree pannel that converts a section to MOLLE loops at a 45 degree angle (fancy that!) and a modular holster from them too. But its not cheap
Go with a Safariland 6000 series or a Serpa from BlackHawk. Both systems are around $100, but they are a GREAT investment for protecting your pistols from damage due to faulty retention systems, plus they look KICK A$$!
