Its become the "tickle me Elmo" of airsoft. Sure I bought the first production run of the Crye manufactured Combat AND field uniforms. But now I'd feel LAME wearing them.

I sure did feel like Elmo when I wore my multicam. Anyhow, I felt it was more of a fashion statement then "combat" effective.

Personally, the functionality debate aside, i think the pattern itself is easy on the eye lol. Bought a repro set when playin with some ppl in SLO cuz they were/are switching to using it as a desert camo, also got a WASATCH in it cuz it was a good deal used. I do try to get things no one else has (silenced 1911 for example :twisted:) but i just like the look of it for some reason. However i don't like wearin the top but love the pocket layout on the pants and since i don't have any DCU's i'll be sportin it tomorrow and probably get made fun of for it haha :( . But so it is... flame away :D

ACU does look real funny but works awsome in Iraq... blends in great to buildings and such. Check out some pics of army folks training and you'll see what i mean

apparently multicam also blends into other camo's and is good for confusing whiney rich goth kids and making them think you're wearing green so they don't shoot you
