I know Rap and Rcas have the HTC wizard. i'm thinking of getting one. What plans should I get? What should I do with it once it's in my grubby hands?

You beezie (JK), I'm stuck with Verizon...but I have to say I'm a lot more satisfied with Verizon's service and prices over Cingular's.

ya i'll pass... an apple phone? The only thing i'd buy from them is an ipod. I'll stick with my HTC wizard thank you very much :D, its got the touch screen, wifi, decent camera for a phone, keyboard, and its completely customizable. Hell i've got Boondock Saints AND The Great Escape on it right now lol

To the common man it is known as the Cingular 8125, Qtek 9100, iMate K-Jam, T-Mobile MDA Vario, O2 XDA Mini S, or Orange SPV M3000 with the first word after each comma being the provider name. Its made by HTC which makes most of the worlds smart phones/pocket pc phones. Toss in a 2gig mini sd card and you're ready to rock with whatever you can throw at it. Best part about it is its completely customizable and you can change the ROM on it as often as you like if you know where to get them.

haha thats most of the reason i stuck with cingular when my contract was up last may... the phones. I don't like LG things. No real basis other then i never heard of them before last year or so. Their devices seem to be functional but don't do anything really cool as well.

Its suppose to be the smartphone challenger. As of now cell phones run on Palm OS, Windows Mobile, or Sybian (whatever the Nokia cellphone uses...). iphones would run on Mac OS X. I have been hearing rumors of smartphones that runs on Windows Mobile such as Motorola Q crashes frequenty, so you are better of waiting for service packs or just "BUY A MACINTOSH!"

Sorry to necropost but I'm switching over to cingular and I'm thinking of getting the HTC wizard. Any tips and tricks for moi once I get it in my hands? Will probably have unlimited data and text.

Yea, Steve said its dated to be released in June 2007. Other than what he said in the keynote, is just rumors....

I dont really have any tricks or tips to give you, but i would encourage you to buy one, i got one a while ago and i love it.

Umm bro, we were talking about the Cingular 8125, if you read above, Rcas and Rap1171 both have one. Sorry for the confusion, it IS the iphone thread.

I saw one of those Flash ads that said you could Bata test the apple Iphone and keep it :? what a load of crap.
