Inspired by Star Wars and Halo, inventor's words, not mine.

i think it might be effective. the arms look a bit large though. as far as the laser pointer on the helmet, im not sure, i think it would would be hard to find it unless it was coming off your head.

its not done streaming to my computer yet but my first thought was how bad is the peripheral vision with that thing? Good if you're protected but pointless if you can't see shit and aquire a target lol

I read about that transponder, I think its a ok idea. But being almost invinsible is a big plus, if it actually gets used, just so long as it can take 7.62 from any angle. Since its got to be hot it would probably only be used on short missions.

As a Airborne Infantryman in the REAL Army, I would love to road march 30 miles with this f'en thing on and a 140 pounds of equiptment too... That would be great to scare the sh!t out of hadji kids... and maybe pick up nerds at a comic book convention... and that's about it...LMFAO

They said he made a long drive in it... and the helmet has fans for ventilation as well as a line for the canteen. He looks pretty comfortable in it as well... I think it's worth a field test.

Blink said-gloating?

You have to expose your head in order to get it point to whatever you want to designate. Also lasers can be spotted, even non-visible lasers with the right equipment. Which would you rather have shot at your rifle or your head?

yeah, that would be great for the first man in when entering a building. let everyone shoot at him, show their positions, etc...
I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.
Jan 18, 2007 12:16am
