This is my first time opening a gear box. I'm putting a Hurricane kit in a Ver 2 gear box. With a 120 spring I know I should put in the steel bushings. The plastic ones pushed out by hand, but the new bushing won't press in. Should I press them in with an arbor press, or ream out the hole until they slide in easily.

there is a lot of info out there if you search but check this. www.mechbox.com they explain everything. When i did mine they were hard too, but they will work.
Thanks, for the link. I was doing this by intuition before. The only thing I had to go on was a video from 21st century airsoft that really only explains how to change a spring.

well ya that will be a HUGE issue, hopefully whoever sold him the bushings asked what it was for and so forth but ya find out before you throw some elbow grease into it.
Bingo!! I had some 6mm ball bearings and they fit perfectly. I can't really blame the guy that sold them to me. They came in a kit. It doesn't say the bearing size on the package.
