BULL S**T!

they get in trouble for doing there jobs? thats messed up.
If you turn and ran from a cop and they shot you, better fucking hope they goto jail.
The man they shot was in fact a drug dealer carrying drugs. Why does our administration spend BILLIONS on dollars on the war on drugs then when two peace officer acctually do something to a drug dealer they go to jail.
"t was later found Aldrete was transporting over 700 pounds of marijuana while in the U.S. illegally. U.S. officials gave immunity to Aldrete for that drug run in exchange for his testimony against the two agents."
I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.
just to get this out in the open now to make something a crime it has to have Act and inttent. He inteneded to carry drugs accros the border. He acted on his intentions.
His "crime" has nothing to do with "why" the agents are in prison
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?
true BUT the fact that one hes was here illegally and two he was carrying DRUGS, mabye im old fashinoed when i say deport illegals and two if u are so intent on having a war on drugs then dont imprison those who are trying to do their jobs and prevents drugs from coming into america. I do agree that they should not have jumped bail nor should they have lied on paper work. shooting an fleeing man who is illegal and carrying drugs, fine with me. yes im going to hell.
LOL...I understand how you feel, but I have no sympathy for dirty LEO's. IMO LEO's should only take actions which they would feel comfortable their superiors knowing about. Their actions after the incident (false reports, picking up shells) speak volumes about the incident in question.

yes i agree trying to cover up and crooked cops are two things that a future cop HATES but waht erks me even more is the fact the a drug runner is now LEGALLY in the US for comitting a crime! and now hes sueing for 5 million, and of course he will win. So he commits a crime, 2 crimes at that, and now he legally lving here and a millionare. F uck it, why am i in school?

So true about that fact. It's too bad they felt the need to compromise their actions. If oyu're going to make a solid decision (one that big..to shoot someone) an officer or other person with that type of authority had better go all the way with it and not hide things. Otherwise everything they did during that incident and all other incidents in their career will be questioned and investigated.

Chris u nailed it, i wa spissed when i posted this, still am but i still feal that the cops are being over charged. Yes lie, distruction of evidence, and a fe wother things are bad, horrible things to do in the name of law enforcment. They did however use deadly force. less than lethal would work, MABYE.
That whole situaton and many others like it are common, unfortunately. The original idiot who was breaking the law, ends up gaining something and the officers end up screwing themselves over using "wild west" style enforcement. I agree witht he "wild west type of LE, like many people do in this country, however, engaging in cover-ups is no the way to go...LOL!
Yeah...things just are not the way they used to be when REAL justice was served.

"A jury found that Ramos and Compean not only shot at an unarmed Aldrete ââ¬â although the agents claimed they thought he had a gun ââ¬â but then tried to cover it up by picking up the shell casings and omitting details of the incident on their report."
"We'll bomb them back to the stone age" General Curtis Lemay ,USAF
ok wait so they knew he was a drug dealer with a significant amount of product. That right there screams armed person to me... if i were carrying 700lbs of hash i'd have a fucking gun so i wouldn't get ripped off by my buyer. And if he ran to mexico how'd they know he wasn't armed, cuz he said he wasn't?! (or am i reading it wrong and he never made it to mexico).
the part that concerns me the most is " U.S. officials gave immunity to Aldrete for that drug run in exchange for his testimony against the two agents." why on earth is the us government taking sides with an illegal alien? especially a drug runner?
yep thats me

i think that if bush dosent have the balls to follow up with his "drug war" the he should get his @$$ of of the white house
Funny Theatre Quotes:
Just my two cents... If you become an LEO, join whatever pro LEO organization you can. For us feds it's FLEOA (Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association). It's $95 a year and they represent the agents, not management in legal advise and/or proceedings.
the right thing for the community by preventing sale of illegal substances...
Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Funny!
Gun control is not Crime control.
They guy they shot got immunity from prosecution for all the dope that was in his car, and then after the trial he was arrested AGAIN for smuggling, and no charges have been filed to date.
I shoot Table Gypsies on sight!
