What would be the best M203 for my M15a4 Rifle "M16a2/3"?

Norca Army Navy carries the SP M203, he doesn't have the rounds yet, but when he does it will be the 165 rounders from CA. And the SP grenade launcher will be the one you want for your rifle.

note that you will need to modify the spm203 or the m15a4. the SP launcher is designed for the tm m16 outerbarrel and the CA outer barrel is too big since its reinforced. you'll have to do some dremel work. you also might want to look into the G&P launchers as they are full metal and work just like the SP ones. they are actually a bit cheaper as well.

Do the G&P require custom work? Do they have the model with the heat shield? I looked on UNCompany only saw RIS G&P M203s, and I do not want a RIS.

i think the g&p would require custom work. they do have a non-ris model that will attach to an m4 (actually 4 different ones. two are short 9 inch barreled and 2 are standard length. of each pair one is made for marui and one is made for the g&p jungle frontend sets). i think it would be possible to add a heat shield adapter to the standard on made for marui but i'm not sure. it would be something worth doing some research on.

Yea I was just looking over them again on UNCompany, there are the RIS verisons then the clamped verison. Not really my style, I perfer the heat shield look.

i made a mistake earlier, it turns out that the g&p should fit m15 outer barrels without modification according to some people on airsoftplayers.com forums. i don't remember exactly what part of the SP launcher need to be dremeled but i remember that someone did it and posted pics either on the airsoftplayers forums or the airsoftretreat forums. if i run across it i'll let you know.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but are there any M203's for M4's with the heat shield? All the ones i've seen only have heat shields for the M16's..

i don't think there are any m203s with heat shields designed for the m4... though i bet some people here could do some kind of custom and rig one up.

I've been looking into doing the same thing you want to do ferg, and I've checked it out with the CA M15A2. It looks as though all you have to do is remove the front sight post (take out the pins) and then slide the M203 on. I honestly don't think you will need to do any mods, except maybe to the front holder to make it more stable.
