they can ban assault weapons in CA because of how the 2nd ammendment is interpreted by the people who make decisions and there is no federal law specifically stating that citizens are allowed to purchase and own the banned items.

God Damn some people are fing stupid. All because of his stupidity and ignorance all of us may suffer for his action in the end. I think to be able to buy an airsoft gun the individual should have to be tested or the seller of the gun need to tell the individual what the laws are about airsoft and have to sign a contrat or some sort of legaly bindind document so then that person would know so he cant plead ignorant, which isn't a fing excuse by the way, and it will be known legaly that the individual was told and signed a document stating that he was informed and knew of the laws and everyone else was told but he didn't listen and broke the law so it is his fault not everyone elses, cause we all abide by the law cause we dont want our right to play airsoft taken away.

Rhetorical question or not for those that don't know federal and state law are interesting documents and tough to interpret at times, even for those of us in federal/state LE.

I am not an expert on this but my friend just tried to buy a .45 xd tactical in od slide and blacklower. This gun is not legal in Ca, Why Springfield did not pay to have that model sellable here in ca, I believe the gun makers pay 200 bucks a gun to have it sold here, crazy huh(think of all the guns models). So my bro had to get an all black one. That is why guns fall off and on the list the gun maker may decide not to renew it plus drop tests etc. Hope this helps, if I am wrong please tell me.

One test, sell just the gun to the person. No box no nothing, just sell it to them and if they decide to walk out with the gun, no sale for you! You failed the test. LOL
