Realistic Organization?
I'm curious as to how many of you would be interested in bringing a little bit of Re-enacting to airsoft?
You know I am in, we have been talking about this for a while.
I like the idea of a realism basied USFOR airsoft team. are you going to have standard requirements? i would be in but im going to have to take a year or so off.
I know Dave and ERIN both want to do it, inculding me that makes 3.
i'm in  just dont have tri deserts or woodland lol

I think that what Ferg is talking about is to get the ground work done, in terms of getting people who are interested in this, and once you have made yourself known, you can start to assemble your gear. Once you have the gear, and there is a large enough group with the gear then it will be plausible to start doing some re-enactments.

yea I am going to need a CA M16, DCU, LBE, helmet cover... a bit of stuff i need to round up lol.
Nah, you don't need all that much LOL
Where did your brother get his interceptor dave? I looked on ebay can't find em, only place I can find em is AE.
he got it from airsoft retreat for 65.
Re-enactors must be a different breed of people to be so dedicated.
Ray's got the MOVES!
yea might be easy for some ppl to sell and buy whatever they want, but my parents are strict when it comes to airsoft

Money and personal preferance seems to take top priority with airsofters, hehe.
Ferguson, sorry for the confusion, I only play with M16's pretty much, hehe.
Just to see what may come up.....

awww... I actually miss it... that day of +25 kills was great, wonderful CQB gun. If I ever get another support weapon again though it's gonna be a full size m60.
If I ever have a choice, it would be for the 249....
OK, not to side track off from your original subject. People joining up with you in being an organized team/club/group. Need to know up front the truth about the group and what's expected. Don't try to powder coat it....
How often were you planning on getting together for training? I hope an awful lot! It's one thing to just wear the clothes but it might be better to actually look like you know what your doing. That was the one thing I liked best about "Band of Brothers" was that the actors spent weeks in basic training then rehersed each and every scene. So when the time came to act, they looked good! I'm sure you've seen lots of airsoft and reenacting events look like giant scared bugs running for cover.
honestly, ferg and joel, i think that any support weapon that is airsoft made right now is CRAP. TOP makes poor.....poor...poor weapons, and i dont think i would ever put 1000+ dollars into a gun that doesnt even perform close to an AEG....they look AWESOME, but they dont tickle ny fancy....
honestly Cfs douche i would rather gouge my eyes out and stomp on them than play with an arrogant cocksucker like you

Hopefully CA is aware of this problem with support weapons, and when they release their M249 it is something worth buying, and not a pile of shat.
