Well I just had this idea about an hour ago and I really like the heat shield on the SP M203 which from what I know is only available for the M16. So my question is, would it be possible to Swap the front assembly of my M4 to match that of an M16? I'm curious what I would need to make this to work.. Anyone have any ideas and do you think that this idea is even possible?
its possible...just get an M16A2 front end TM and CA outer barrels are compatible...
yeap you may also want to get a tightbore M16 inner barrel, since you have the length for it to be there minus well put that length to use... would look like this....
That is definately an interesting M16/M4. If you just change the position of your front sight post like in that picture, you are still going to need to have the M4 adaptor for the SP M203 launcher. If you go for a CA outer barrel kit I think you will not need any adaptor.
I would do what redleg is saying, a CA outter barrel kit, since they are reinforced. You dont want a TM rifle supporting that 203(as you know TMs barrels are not secure at all, the extra weight would kill)
