yes yes yes...we've come a long way since I was able to check in my .22 rifle at my HS Office so I could shoot after school in the basement range.

All of this bunk is no different from what we have in California. I doubt this law will pass.

The NRA will NEVER let this fly. If in the remote chance it did pass it would be much like the SF anti firearm legislation which was quickly overturned.

I invested $2500 in a nice Liberty safe and it was the best piece of mind I've ever had or purchased. I have no problem with a federal law which imposes strict regulations on parents + children + safe weapon storage.
