they aren't over-analyzing. They just enjoy realism it there movies. Why do you not care? Don't you appreciate seeing something that actually happened? Everyone has their own style. If they want to watch movies that have the utmost detail and realism then let them. If you watch it purely for entertainment then great. This is an opinion thread and they just gave their opinion.

Worst movie I've ever seen was a $3 DVD I got in a white elephant exchange... it was called "Do you want to know a secret?", it was one of those straight to DVD C/D horror slasher movie that completely copied I know what you did last summer, except that they did it with ~10,000 dollars instead. The high point of the movie was waiting for someone to get killed, but no one did for the first ~45 minutes, and then all of a sudden 3 people got killed, and the ending was even worse. I broke my copy in half afterwards in anger.

I love movies so much I tend to try and pull at least one good thing from it even if I didn't completely enjoy the show; Like a funny line, nude scene, action scene, even the movie score.
