Radio Control ROV for airsoft

Jul 11, 2007 6:12am
Well, awhile ago I put up a post about a gun cam I was planning on building. I was pretty much laughed at  Well the design has been modified somewhat. Instead of being mounted to the RIS of my gun, it's been attached to a stripped down RC car.

glenn(cain) brought out a RC plane with camera once.... pretty cool. I had some RC helicopters, started to get a camera setup on one but never finshed. And the fact I suck really bad at flying the thing and did stuff like crash into shovels at cpairsofters i nthe pitch black night hahahaha.

Josh Frys has decent half mile mini camera for like 100$ for surveillance. I have had the same idea as you but with a chopper.

Haha, You remember that Dave. Never flew that thing after that day. Traded off the plane but kept the camera.

Im liking that Predator. It would be cool to see real time footage when it is flying up there. That would be really useful to be able to see enemy positions from the air :D

Way late but here's the most current pictures of our little project. Very rough admittedly.

im likeing the tacticool zip ties lol funny is, is when Spencer built his death buddy(death to the driver) he used zip ties and random nails sticking through the wood. lol

Thanks Ryan. I guess the zip ties are better than the duct tape our friend wanted to use.

I may try this with rc10gt, its gas so it might be a little too loud, but itl get through some pretty think grass. I think its top speed is around 40 mph, making it very hard to manuever via camera at high speeds

I had an Idea of putting those cheap 40 dollar spy cameras in a gutted out aimpoint, then wirelessly going to the transmitter or w.e. and dirst feed to 2 inch monitor. monitors go for aorund 60 bucks if you shop well
