Neouser: So let me get this straight, you prefer to run stock as opposed to aftermarket barrels in your gun? Interesting...
Of anyone that speaks their mind on here listen to snoopy and neouser they have been playing airsoft since you were in diapers (literally). They have seen, used and tried just about everything that has been out.

LOL, yeah, my sister has an MP5K and boy did it piss me off that it could out range some of my guns. Her's was only shooting 230 fps and out-ranged some of my 350 fps guns. That dinky barrel is probably as long as a pistols. LOL
DJ (Dennis)
like with my tm uzi, before the piston head cracked or the hop broke not sure which i would out range my which was shooting 370
its interesting to read convo's on different boards and listen to people different people. I am not disputing anyone here, most of you sure as hell know alot more than me, but it seems that different places have different opinions about what works and what doesnt. Again, im not trying to start a debate, it is just curious.

well that is because as with any message board, most people think because their neighbor heard something from this guy on this one forum, that it equals fact.

Neouser:As far as any retailer in Hawaii goes, they dont have any influence on me buying a part over another. When I shop at any store, I know what part I want; no sales associate will persuade me to do so otherwise. The advice I follow comes directly from the tuners themselves, no one else.
Neouser:Depends how you see it. For me at least, if poweredge has something in stock that I need, it just means that I won't have to order it from HK. Generally the guys that I play with will get something from HK and experiment with it determining if it works well with the particular setup we are going for.
I like buying new stuff just because but in reality I have seen guys with stock tm m4's that kick ass. Alot was the player. If you are aggressive and smart you can get close enough where range and tight groupings are no biggie. I like high higher fps only for the reason that the bb will get there faster eliminate the Matrix effect, this is only good for close engagements. Tight groupings are a joke anyway. If you are going to use a bench rest of bipod on a stationary target then yeah it makes a difference but for skirmishing let's look at it. First the typical engagement distance is 60-100 feet. Closer if it is a place like Nam where you can sneak up closer. Second you are for the most part either moving or shooting at a moving target. Third you are shooting a round object that is not rifled so it is very inaccurate and not constant. So putting these things together try to go to a place and set up a target at around 60-100 feet, Now aim the rifle at the 9 occlock position then in a rapid smooth motion move it to the 3 oclock position and without stopping pull the trigger just as the sights lines up at the target which would be at the 12 o'clock position. So what do you notice? That you will miss every time. I do not care how many times you try you will always miss because of the reasons I stated above. So how do you correct it? You got it pull the trigger early and use full auto. Either way look now at your groupings. I bet you 5 bucks you cannot be consitant on your groupings no matter what you have in your gun. ( of course wind will play hell with you) So after doing this why upgrade, because it is fun!!!!! Doesn't make any sense but who cares we all want new things keeps the spice in life.

There still garbage,In my CA m15 i had a KN TB in it and it was chrono 380-385 with a cut m130.Took out the TB put a stock barrel in it,chrono'd at 460fps. And shoots straight as an arrow.
Yo MaMa!
Bah. I thought about it and it's really not that important. An AEG is just a tool to get the job done. As long as it suits your needs, and you believe that it works, do whatever you like to it. What I think shouldn't matter.
Kevin It does not matter peeps are always going to do what ever they feel is "right". I just kick back and enjoy the entertaiment.
