I'm pretty sure the Mr. Rogers thing is an urban legend. I think I read it on Snopes. Yeah, here it is:
tommyknocker2121 is correct. The Mr. Rogers story is a complete Urban Legend. One reason I know is because I help perpetuate it when I'm doing my yearly Drill SGT duties on the trail at FT Benning... Most PVT's eat that story up and figure if Mr. Rogers can do this, so can I.
