Night Vision Advice

Feb 11, 2007 7:01am
I'm getting my tax return here shortly, and wondering if anyone here has any experience on night vision. I am looking for something with a long battery life, good mounts, and preferably between $400 and $600. Any experience is useful, specific product names and descriptions preferable.

so all the crap on the sports sites is useless? so I'd have to go up to the 1,200 price range ya think? I just want it for general observation to relay information to my team for night games.

lmfao, i just dropped 2700 on a brand new PVS-14 and it came with everything including a PASGT with 2 NVG brackets and mounts, rhino arm, and extra parts, gotta love ebay, Gen 3 + is the way to go, and be prepared to drop a ton of cash for anything good, as for mono or dual optic single lens (like PVS-7A/B) i prefer the mono cause its easier to shoot your rifle with, but you have to get orientated for the first 5 minutes or you'll be all over the place

hey trust me i know. go to school first and the go in as a officer. if you enlist and then try to go to school it you take you so much longer than it would on the outside because of deployments and crapy work schedules, and you have to get all you upgrade training done before they will let you take any classed and that can take 1-2 years in its self.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
