I'm probably going to be buying the ICS M4 RIS in a couple of months but wanted some questions first about it before I drop the money.

Anything but ICS, I beleive is what I've been told. CA has good rails, however you'll get more bang for your buck if you look towards more known companies such as CA, King Arms, Proud, etc. The person you should ask would be Snoopy, whom has the SIR system from ICS on the front end of his weapon, rather...one of his many.

i dont remember who but someone makes a rail that bolts to the carry handle and i have an ics with the ics ris and it is ok but it looks a little funky with 2 exposed screws it does the job and was cheap compared to some other ris it is sturdy but its your gun and your money so good luck

Many old timers told me that the CA would be more reliable. That's what I bought. So far so good.

Go with CA because ICS has been know for having warped gearboxes and I guess they never change the mold. But that was a while back they might have it better now. But I did hear that ICS metal body was better than CA but still pot metal aint that great anyway.

dont get an ics please dont get an ICS, why? everygame ive been to to and a gun goes down its an ICS. My TM runs like a champ neev given me issues. CA's are alright in the AR varietns, stay away from their AK, g36 line up. ON the battery issues it would be dame hard to use to a big of a battery in a gun. If its a CA ris u get then it comes with a PEQ batt box and i think it hold a 9.6 mini battery.

Well, it seems like no one here likes the ICS although from other people I've talked to they do. It's either CA or TM it seems though. If I do get one I'll probably lean more towards TM since CA doesn't seem to make a M4 (not from what I've found at least).

CA makes a ar15 lineup same as TM m4 line up except they are all metal. The newer CA's have been fairly good, not as many comression issues and lemon gear boxs. TM is my personal favorite but that cause all of my guns have about 500$ extra dropped into them. The peq box mounts on to the RIS system which means the box can be moved from one rail to anoother. YEs trhe CA m15 A4 RIs has a detachable carry handle and there is a weaver base mount on it. I would go for the CA m15a4 RIS SPC rifle full stock cause u can holda large battery. That means more upgrades, high ROF and what nots.

Well, this is actually the only site that I've been to that has said anything bad about the ICS. I've been talking to some other people I know and they said theirs works beautifully and the break away frame to the gear box makes it easy to clear jams. And since I want the RIS version, it's cheaper for me to get that than the CA. If I have problems, meh, that's my bad and I will have learned my lesson but I figure, you gotta learn sometime.

it comes with 4 rail buddy, now what other sites have u been looking at? Sacairsoft has some of the best techs in the state if not US when (im not one of them) errr stay away form ICS. I have had several on my desk to fix, ya i fixed them but they are sh it. Heres my thought process on em. Ya its handy to have 2 part gear box BUT if your stripping a piston or if the gun is jaming to the point where that split design is a plus then stay away from that gun. I have 2 riflesa right now. A tm mp5. IT shoot roughly 30 rounds per second, it WILL NOT jam on me and i try to beat it up. I have another rifle its a custom m4 ROF is slower thatn mp5 but still NEVER jams. THere is a major quality difference between TM, CA, ICS, UTG, WELL, CYMA. I dont even like CA's all that much. So i know u dont know me so what makes me experince better than other boards, nothing, its just that im sick off seeing some poor kid out there with a ICS and it break in the iddle of a game.

I've just talked to some people, no forums or anything. They don't play as often as you guys do but they have used ICS and they seem to like it. Might have to end up getting the TM then if you think ICS is that bad. Plus it's cheaper.

LOL this is fun, see Random bassicly once a month some noobs longs on the site aks a question like this one ICSvs TM or CA we all give advice, they dont listen, at one of his first game his gun breaks, he cries about it, begs for some to help him fix it (i refuse to work on peeps shit) then he has apaper weight he cant sell it sits on the boards for a few month, then he sells it on ebay. We are tryiing to save u the hassle of all of that. Ive been playing for 8 years now and i have onwned dam near every rifle on the market. Same with johny, night balde has been around for awhile. I understand that some peeps have told u ICS is good. THe guns suck, TM are the best period. i would run a stock TM or a stock CA ANY DAY u just have to blieve that the memeber on nor cals largest airsoft forum know what they are talking about.

So apparently when one person does it, as long as he's a friend it's alright, but when someone tries to defend themselves from an attack it's not cool and we'll just gang up on that guy.
