funny thought
ok, why hasn't some company made an airsoft rifle that works like a paintball gun? the whole operating concept would be drastically simplified. there wouldn't be a whiny gearbox, no shot delay, the number of moving parts would be cut down, you could adjust velocity to your own needs and i think it would be cheaper. The only downside i see would be the air tank, but im sure that could be figured out easily enough.

escort rifles, run off of external airtanks, havea blow back system, sound really loud. No moving parts, all vavles and orings. Cost about 1000$
damn... i was just thinking, like the whole ion concept stuck in an m16 body.

that what they look like, they have m16, mp5 and aks are coming out if not out already, its in the area of "classic airsoft"
I'll hold out for the M134 or MK 19 versions.

geez. for a minuite i thought he was going to say something like. have it be like paintball where there is a hopper and all the bbs fall through.
yeah they make 6 mm paintballs. they wouldent work in an aeg or gbb becasue of the pressure the mags woulp put on them, so that means, like a cheap spring pistol. they also dont break on target, becasue they are moving at 120 feet per second. also, after u use them, the warrenty on your gun voids. so they are useless.
