upgrading... Where to start? should i attempt myself?

If you want 350 FPS just take it to AEX and they will upgrade to metal bushings and a M100.

Spring and bushings. Use a m100 spring. The stock TM nozle is fine, no need to replace it till you break it. Same thing with the cylinder and cylinder head. Get a Systema shim set, Guarder bushing set (6mm) and a m100 spring. you will have to remove the piston head to remove the stock TM spring, so go with a Systema duracon piston head. Parts should run around $ 60.

Are this things (the upgrades) things i can do myself? I'm a very mechanical guy and i'm not a mental midgit. I'm just a little nervous about crackin open my brand new gun.

Another battery question? I know will the 9.6 3300 be fine? But why don't you guys just buy the 10.8v or bigger right from the get go, and throw it on a laylex sling? is it a waste? really just wondering. (i know it's a total noob question but curcify me after you answer ok?)

ya upgradeing is easy, ifi can do it ne one can trust me... lol just take your time. The guide MEtal gave u should be fine. Also on airsoftplayers there is one.

I currently use a 9.6 on my CA m4, and have no problems. but yes, from what I've heard, TM pistons and cylenders are great until they wear out naturaly. I wait till something breaks, then I upgrade. However, in the 3 guns i've owned, none have broken so I've been lucky so far ~ knock on wood~

hmmm in my mp5 tm is has systema high speed gears and high spped motor shoots about 28 rps on a full charge. Ive gone threw about 20000 rounds since i have done the high speed upgrades no piston strippage yet, and yes its a TM piston soo hmmm heeee hawwww TM FTW BIATCHES!

+1 just upgrade your bushings and spring. There is no need to replace your nozzle.

lol ya hes already been pming me, i dont work on peeps guns ne more, i dont have the time for myself let alone them haha
