The Sac AEX has no problems, and is my prefered AEX among the chain. This is a fact even though I live less than 3 minutes away from Santa Clara AEX ( including waiting at 3 lights )

Tech end they are awesome, just don't by a TM M3-super 90 from them. The owners of the company have decided not to make good on warrenty issues with my M3 even when it broke the day after I got it. Andrew did his very best to get it fixed but in the end got shut down by the man in charge. In the end all I got out of a $300 gun was a "sorry" which is total BS in this situation. This is after I have spend a blinding sum of money with these people and been a very loyal customer for 4 years. I will still have AEX sac do upgrades on my guns, because they kick ass at that but with this last problem I had I doubt I will buy another gun from them. if Mickey and friends decide they want to make this right I might change my mind. Untill then I dont mind telling people what they can expect down the line with AEX in this respect.

CPairsofter, could you elaborate a bit more about this situation? Did AEX claim user error? How many shots did you put through the M3? I'm interested b/c I may be buying an AEG from their shop in the near future and would like to know exactly what they said to you ("tough luck")?

technicly, you got a contract with them. You could sue.

I have made purchases at AEX (Santa Clara) before, and continue to support our local airsoft businesses, however it is a bit worrying to see unknown limitations to the 45 day warranty... I still have great respect for AEX b/c they , in a sense, were pioneers in this industry by bringing airsoft supplies to the mainland U.S. market and supporting the airsoft scene at the local as well as the national level. I still remember the day when (Easter for some strange reason) I walked into AEX Santa Clara at their old Bascom Ave. location and it was just Peter Ho manning the store... I was such a stupid brat then.

As sad as it is, CPairsofter, you are right about taking someone to court... it is a ridiculously expensive venture for anyone, and many times the costs of bringing a suit to court will be more than what a person may potentially receive in return, which is the reason why most cases end in arbitration and settlement. BTW this has nothing to do with what I think of CPairsofter's situation w/ AEX or what I think of AEX as a retailor, but is simply my views on our civil litigation system.

Those guys at the Sac AEX scare me. I think they're North Korean spies working for Tehran or something. BE CAREFUL!! :D
