Ca-25

Mar 14, 2007 12:48am
So I'm looking at the classic army sr-25, and i've read great reviews about it. Does anyone have any experience with it? I would build a sr-25 off of a TM, but it would end up being pretty pricey, and the CA25 is $440 so its hard to pass up when I dont have a grand to blow on one rifle. Also do CA's take any mags other then CA mags? They only have a 470 rounder for it, and I'd rather use std mags for a marksmen rifle.

you btter check with redwolf. Bcause most 25's (.308)use a bigger mag than a 5.56 replica. So they will not work.

the ca sr-25 is a wanna be "308" so no it wont take any mag but the ones made for it. but i do think they do make a std for it.

That is what I assumed with the mags but I wasn't sure how CA ended up doing it. Can only hope for std's in a near future.

i think hes asking if the CA SR-25 is compatible with the SR-25 mags made by G&G along with G&P.

I have some extra G&P SR 25 mags if you want to try putting them in the CA SR25.

Are those G&P's the 170's? I might be interested when I get it. What I want doesn't exist yet it seems. I'd rather have like 6 low caps then anything else but owell.

Yes thank you... long day. I knew they wouldn't take any 5.56 mags but G&G and G&P have their own sr-25's and there are some companies that only make mags and no guns so I was trying to figure out my options. Hopefully the gun catches on a bit and CA makes some standards or small mids. The ca-25's on ebay are tempting but I give AEX my business if they have what I'm looking for.

the CA doest take the G&P mags, the mag well is a little smaller then the G&P SR-25
