Anyone know where I can get cheap motorola radios, I have a bone conductor set up so I need something with a lot of juice?? And where can I get one programmed. I live in Solano County.

Well heres the story, I recently bought a motorola saber off ebay, the reason why I got it is because my uncle gave me a new eagle headset that is compatible with the sabers and astros. First off all, why do I need the radio reprogrammed? is it needed so I can communicate with other airsofters using talkabouts, etc...? Or can I just use it right away without reprogramming? My saber is transmitting at 408 mhz and from what I read, talkabouts transmit at 450-460mhz on a UHF band, I think. So I got myself a UHF antenna today, that transmits from 430-470mhz, will that be enough? I really dont know jack about 2 way radios, I never thought it would be this complicated.
i not a genius either,but i THINK that if u just put it on a specific chanel,than it'll work?im not sure.
