So the mini I have is too small for the task. Right? And i'm guessing that a nun-chuck wouldn't have the power as well to power the gun correct?

What spring?

#1 I fix batteries frequently enough at the shop. I dont see why the SC store wont do it. I know the techs there are backed up a bit but it shouldnt be a problem to drop it off.

Completely stock internals.

#1: how old is the battery? cant you return it?

So Question # 2 has been answered enough. I talked to one of the guys at the SC AEX, and he said that a Nunchuck should provide enough power to run the gun.
