i don't know about it being a worthwhile "investment," mainly because you would just be buying it for what it is, another piece of gear for the typical gear whore :lol: . if you needed it to actually protect your life by carring heavy plates on the battlefield, then sure, it would be a good investment for that matter. but i'm assuming that it'll just be something to airsoft in; in that case, well, it's up to you whether or not you want to spend the money on something that has more real steel bling factor than a phantom replica.
i would say to get that, for a little over a hundred bucks... thats one hell of deal for what it is. Its also made by Blackwater which is a very reputable company product wise.

I am just going to be using it for airsoft, and totally understand what you mean when you talk about the replicas and how I need to evaluate what purpose it will serve before spending the money. I'll think it over and see if it'd be worthwhile for what I'll use it for.
