ok so i bought an m700 a few months ago, but i seem to keep having problems with it. its a gas gun, and i've taken it in to aex to get it fixed and they said they had fixed it and turned the fps back up to 500. however it has absolutely no range whatsoever and i'm wondering why. if it is at 500 how come my g36 thats shooting 405 can outdistance it. is it just a bad rifle that is super broken or do i need like a new barrel and internals or something. cuz as of now its dropping out at like 20ft when it fires, but most of the time it wont even shoot even though my mags are loaded with gas and there is a bb in the chamber. cuz as i was aware it should be shooting at least 60 meters. but now it sounds like it cocks i pull the trigger and it clicks but no gas comes out and the off chance that it does the bb goes 20ft. any ideas? completely broken? time for a whole new gun?

well i have the mag that came with it and then i got a brand new one from red wolf and the same thing. and it has a pcs bolt in it. and i would like to know why its not stayin at 500. when i havent even messed with anything. kinda frustrating that i cant headshot ppl from more than 10 ft.

sound slike maybe bucking? or hop unit is funcky, take it back in.

i turned the hop all the way off but it does the same thing. could there be some kind of leak thats there. cuz im at a loss when it cmes to freakin gas guns.

i doubt theres a leak. I think the bucking is torn so its not getting any back spin on the bb hence no range, even at 500 fps wiht no back spin and glide the bb is about as areo dynamic as a brick...

hmm ok. i woulda thought that the fps would make it go a little farther, then that even without hop up. i just wish there was like a meter i could hook up to the gun and it would give a reading of great or poopy on the quality of the gun. i think that would solve lots of problems.

yes a chrono always helps, i could be totally wrong on my hop up guesse.

its all good every bit helps. except people suggesting that i was shooting qtips out the gun. however not a bad idea could clean the barrel

well thank you for saying absolutelyu nothing and who said anything about shooting people in the head at "sacair games". i know i didnt. so i'd appreciate no one posting with anything unrelated to the problem at hand. thx

check to see if the hop chamber had a crack in it. LOL that happened to mine if the first week of me having it.

Its most likely the hop unit, i had one, did the same thing, it was shooting the speed, but not the distance, in my experience, the hop is the most prone piece to break.
