Airsoft Innovations propane adaptor. Check it out.
I frequent the website
Unconventional Airsoft and I just happened to be lucky enough to come across a review of this product. It's made by
Airsoft Innovations and it allows you to use regular propane cans to fill your gas guns. Skeptical about using propane in your gun? I used to be. But there is a lot of evidence that supports that green gas is, in fact, propane. With the cost of green gas, this product sounded so good that I had to order one. It came in the mail today and I've been messing with it all day.
Hm... thats very interesting. I'll have to do some more research into this being a chemistry major. From what i've read it seems to be the same as green gas.
Thanks for the cool review.... Keep us posted on any new findings.
Ray's got the MOVES!
Isn't there a risk of flamability? Someone smoking while someones firing off their gbb and boom? I've fired off a gbb in my house and that smell of green gas goes all throughout the house.
I have a BS in chemistry. I looked at all the results of the tests on the guy's website and they look very valid. It was interesting to see the Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy readouts. They look very similar. I think I am going to pick up one of those adaptors pretty soon. Thanks for the great review Kevin.

I've been talking to this guy and he's cool as hell. He may have a little surprise for us, so keep your eye on the proverbial ball.
Actually I've used green gas to fill butane lighters, and it burns much hotter than butane. The only problem with using just straight propane is the fact that there is no lubrication in the gas, so it is almost like using red gas in your gun. I suggest that you do maint on your gas gun EVERY TIME after using straight propane in your gun, and not just throwing some lube in, but completely taking it down, and cleaning, then lubing the gun.
can you use butane? haha cuz it already comes with that... "thing" that fits on the gbb magazine. haha just wondering
yea redleg i have also filled my jet lighter with green gas before, works well.
yea wont blow up while smoking i have had my adaptor for a bout a month or so now, and no problems at all, only thing with the propane, it will eat the hell out of your seals (o-rings) if you dont keep them lubricated all the time. but the o-rings are easy to find anyways. and simple to change.

Ummh. You took the oz-ml conversion from a pepsi can?
Yeah, I've been reading around online. I realise that my formula is wrong, but no point in re-writing it if I don't know the exact volume. From what I remember, when they did the math on another board, it was around 750 ml in a can of propane. I think the 1000 ml of greengas usually includes the volume of silicone oil in it, so the quantity might actually come out even closer...
