I came home from work and shot about 15 shots and then my gun stopped working. so I checked the fuse and it had blown. Why? anybody know what would cause that? it is a CA m15-a4
inconsistent(sp) voltage output from battery?replace it,and your fine!lol..Luckily you had a fuse,or your gun would be in smokes rite now

is there anything else it could be? if not thanks.
Did you leave the battery on a full charge for a decent period of time, as in longer than a few weeks without use. Nickel based batteries REQUIRE a discharge of some sort every so often or the start a build up of static electricity at either the positive poll or negative poll or both. This static build up can cause your batteries to peak for a very short period of time to a long period of time and increase the AMP draw (i'm assuming your fuse was 20 AMP, so it peaked over 20 AMP's) for a split second to a long period of time. These Peaks grow before they fully disapate. It is kinda like dragging your sock covered feet along the carpet and then touching the door knob. Now think if you were to do that for a week or more, think how strong or how long that static discharge would last.

It could also mean that your gearbox locked up or the motor needs to be adjusted. But if it worked fine before, I doubt that it could be those things.

it could also indicate a short in the wiring harness itself......My old CA M-15 SPC did the same thing after I shut the battery door on the wires, and partially cut one.......I didn't notice, but then my fuse blew........ :x
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
i gottta one up on you blain-0
lol w0rd Erik CA needs to learn how to SOLIDER lol see when people ask me why i like TM over CA its little things like that.
thanks for the input guys. I am going to do some trouble shooting with the info you gave and hopefully I can figure it out by sat. thanks again
