so im looking at getting a spring sniper rifle, and im wondering which would be the best to get, was thinkin an m24, but what can i do to it as far as upgrades, cuz i'd like itto be shooting 550 and i check redwolf and a couple other sites but i didnt find anything really. thanks.

that helped a bit. guess i could go into aex and ask them too
Their nice but there are plenty of cheats that think only an AEG shot is a true kill. And upgrading snipers cost a ton, a trigger alone cost me 150 w/out tax. There is a lot to account for you should buy a used one for a lot less.

what exactly is the point of a trigger? and i have a tanaka m700 police model with a pcs bolt but its shooting real inconsistant. sometimes it'll go like 250-300 ft and other it'll drop of at 50-75. i wish i knew what to do cuz i would rather keep it since i already have it.
and i guess i could get a precision barrel, new hop up stuff and maybe replace the pcs bolt. cuz i want to get as much power out of this gun as i can and im hoping with the barrel and hop up it'll fix the issue of dropping out, and if it still isnt then replace the power bolt. any ideas? missing anything i should upgrade?
Get a TM G-Spec! Its under $300. And upgraded this thing kicks big butt! You'll save money, and still get a sniper. Scorpion has one and its SEXY! Sexier than rap (love ya man)...
I am a 33! Be proud of what you are...
Gas, is not as consistant as a manual spring gun. Its practically the only downside to a gas sniper, not including...having to pay for gas! I don't think its the barrels problem. It should be something inside, but i have no real experience with gas snipers.

i just took it apart i tightned everything so hop shouldnt be loose. but my hop is all the way on. if i even slightly turn it down it works worse it seems and it seems like the noise changes after a couple shots. thats about when it quits working but i'll shoot a bunch without bb's and the sound is consistent.
Take it into aex...I might trade for my sniper. I have a friend who needs that gun and he'll only buy from close friends. You'd add some cash though because that thing is stock just let me know thx

ok i decided i dont want my gas sniper it works but needs new hop, only like 12$ for replacement. i either want to sell it or trade for another sniper or maybe an smg. comes with rifle case m700 rifle(some scratches on outer barrel but other then that its in good condition. comes with one 12rd standard mag and comes with a tanaka hi cap gas mag too. pm me with any offers. i would prefer any stock sniper to trade though. it has a pcs bolt also and i think right now its shooting 600fps was at 550 but i turned it up.
I have a lot of knowledge pertaining to Tanaka rifles, I have a M40A1 and it is shooting great. Your seems to have a bad hop knub, one thing you could do is get the Best Gun hopup/nozzle kit if you can find it. If not, I would recommend the G&G rubber kit. I have heard both good and bad about it so hopefully your rifle will like it. Also, look into a Dees Customs 6.01 tightbore. They are about 75 bucks and great. Another thing you may want to try is getting an extended nozzle for your bolt, it gives the bb a better place on the bucking and a better gas flow. If you have any questiosn feel free to ask.
oh ok thanks dude. i will see about getting those parts. ima wait on the barrel cuz its so expensive like 122 i saw. but hopefully the hop and nozzle will fix it. and any chance of you parting with that m24 or was it just an example?
Sorry I already have a buyer in mind.
if you wanta NIB bad ass sniper rifle with minimal need for ugprades
i SWEAR by gas. Put it this way, as long as you keep the mag warm, the gun will treat you great. Ive had a taste of both worlds (gas and spring) and honestly, I will never go back to springs. The bolt pull and trigger pull are so unrealistic and unruly that it makes it hard to just get off a single shot. Wheras with my M40A1 I can pull the bolt back with my pinky finger.
WOW. you just put me to shame.
MAybe, the APS has more parts than a Tanaka, bolt wise, but it should do fine.
alright thx guys, now just to get some money to fix my stupid gun.

I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.
I was purely stating the difference between the two bolt pulls. It still does have some slight resistence, much similar to a regular M700 Short action, but compared to the spring gun....it is worlds apart.
