So most (ALL) of you don't know me, I just recently beginning 2006 really got into airsoft with some friends of mine roughly 6+ of us. Anyways most of us live in the Folsom area. Well we went scouting for a place somewhere close by. What we came across was an awesome area somewhat secluded nice and green(now) with 2 hills. One of the hills actually from many years ago has about 3 rock wall bunker type things at the top of the hill. There are many trees and rocks to hide behind. Me and my friends have played their twice now and the 1st time we played we got the Sheriffs department to approve it. The 2nd time we did'nt call anybody, we just played. It's located literally between Folsom and EDHills. Anyways if you guys are interested I could post pics and give more details of exact location. Who ever is incharge of putting games together let me know and I'll give you more info. But maybe you guys play in Marysville and further areas because you all live further away I don't know. Anyways I just wanted to share.
do you have a written document that the popo's signed and said that its o.k.?Just making sure,because if some other cops come by,and you dont have any evidence,then its all bad.

A written document no. But had contact the day before and the day of the game. I was speaking with dispatch so if ANY calls came in about us dispatch would have know it was us. My firends father INlaw is Ex Swat and that is what he suggested we do to be kosher.
cops think about as highly of dispatch as they do people without documentation of approval for misdeamor activity

I found out it's not Folsom PD that covers the area but EDH Sheriffs Dept.

i checked the coordinants out on google earth and i thnk it'd be ok for smaller games. I'd have to run out there when i get home tomorrow to check how much the surrounding areas have been built up but i played paintball near there when i was in high school. I think if the EDC SO knows about it and gives the ok then a 20 person test game would be in order depending on the parking situation. Theres access to it from a newish road that goes between a few new neighborhoods in folsom but the part where you'd cut off i know for sure is still only paved for about 100 yds. The closes "civilization" to it would be the neighborhood in EDH at the top of the hill but unless someone has a big house with a random good view unobstructed by trees overlooking the field it might as well be in the middle of nowhere.
i drove by there tonight on my way home and if i was at the spot hes talkin about it wouldn't work unless the dirt road beyond a gate goes out of sight. Its not a gate for private property and there aren't any signs saying no tresspassing. There are actually quite a few gates like it just blocking off roads that havn't been paved yet in the area but none are locked.

there aren't any signs saying no tresspassing or denoting ownership of the property (the only sign i saw was the End one by the gate). It seems like its county land. Its outside folsom city limits (the sign is about a mile away) and outside sacramento county. El Dorado Hills isn't an incorporated city and i'm pretty sure its outside the town limits which again makes it el dorado county land.
