No flaming here. People may be against the war, but they need to back those who have to go.

true, very true. let's stay on topic here. maybe if more people understood what military personell go through on deployments maybe they wouldn't be so hard. how may of us have left families and loved ones behind? how many birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and special days have i missed out on?? too many to count! however, my family understands, why do i do it????? good question, raised as a red blooded all american kid to support his country? maybe, but possibly part of it is, someone has to do it, i just the poor shmuck that volunteered!!! LOL also i do it for those who want to, but can't. i have a family member right now in marine corps boot camp who may possibly be on his way home because it's been discovered that he may have asthma!! how many times was that little girl in the story mine?????

I can agree with the littel girl in that story and i am positive Wings and Halo both do because our father were both deployed to fight for this country. We also need to think of the men and women here at home who risk their lives every day to protect us so we can sleep safley at night. I am talking about our law enforcement officers. Espically after last Octber's incedetnt I never know if when i say good-bye to my dad as he leaves for work it may be the last time.

I'm all for supporting troops, I've been lucky in having all the friends I've had go over come back intact, physically at least.

I wish there were more people like that... my girlfriend is in the army, and is comming back for 30 days (her plane arrives later today) because she injured her legs, and they tried to convince her that she shouldn't wear her uniform while traveling because somebody might take advantage of her injury and attack her. How sick is that?
I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.
