shimm the gears and get a phatty 'ol silencer.

Get a butt plate maybe (yours was the one w/ sports tape all over it right). Also, the aug gearbox sounds louder than most guns because your head is literally right next to the gearbox so it isn't as loud as you think.

get the GB reliable first... then... more mags... then battery that fits inside... phantom kit should be last on your list, it'll only make your gun look better but as for it shooting better, internals should take priority first. Just my 0.02
My best advice for new airsoft players:

shimming will play more of an affect on the sound of your gun that anything else. Dynomate will of ocurse reduce it, a silent piston head will make it sound smoother, a silincer will do more than remove and hihg end noises and bring the sound out to a thump. Id say have some one that KNOWS what they are doing work on your gun than some kid on the forums who dosnt. I said that to you before but i was told that a high school drop out could do it and now your god dam gun is all loud!!!! OMG i sometimes dont even kow why i give advice.

Just be careful... If you don't know what you are doing, a nice gooey mess that is almost impossible to remove will occur.
