Do you mean in a non-transport role? And what kinds of vehicles? Trucks, ATVs, go-karts?

yes on all counts. Im considering picking up a bvattle wagon at say pick n pull and and then building a saw to go along with it. I know spence and i have been talking about useing his gocart as a battle buggy but we have yet to really make anything cool.

If you mount something on the back of a truck, it better be an AK or RPK with a drum mag.

Off-road vehicles are allowed at the location that we call NAM, correct? (ATV's and stuff are always driving around)

We could do, like a cheap pimp my ride, and just make sure it's at nam whenever possible. I have some connections, it's probably take a couple months, but if i made a few calls...

I could probably do it, but i'd need tools and a couple competent individuals - tools would be the big issue.

Yeah, if anyone has tools and car specialties, i have some experience with custom car stuff. We'd need a garage and some people to pitch in for the cost, but, i'm a college student with a decent amount of time on my hands, so... if anyone's serious about it, let me know.

I'll be more than willing to volunteer as a gunner w/ my RPK. Just a heads up.

as far as legalities of a custom job like that, you just have to be smart about it. As long as the vehicle has seatbelts, headlights, and tailights, it should be fine. I think the biggest issue with regards to sacair rules would be making sure nobody gets run over. Engagement distance would likely be similar to sniper specs. It's just getting there that would be the problem.

I have always thought the idea of technical would be awesome since I got into airsoft. I'm a mechanic, and would be willing to donate time/tools.

I volentured to have my 4Runner as a blackhawk but no one wanted to use it at the nightgame we had at the CQB Feild
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.

Someone getting run over seems like a real threat, however unlikely. Someone getting crushed by the car rolling seems even more likely.
Apr 16, 2007 9:05pm
Well if we were to set a low/sane speed limit there would be a much smaller chance of someone getting run over, or the vehicle rolling over...
