Blackhawk Serpa vs. Bladetech

I'm trying to decide between a Blackhawk Sepra and a Bladetech holster for my Beretta 92(this is real steel). I think I'm gonna get an out of state CCW when I turn 21 so I'm not sure if I want the ease of the Bladetech or the added security of the level 2 Blackhwak Sepra. Heck, I might just go for an IWB if/when I get a CCW. Anyway thats the point of this thread. For now it will be used for backpacking protection or for shooting trips in and out of the state.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

I think this is a tough question to answer as carrying a holster is just like going out on an airsoft mission for example because you're going to need different equipment for different missions.
