(In case there are any youngsters thinking about college next year) I am attending Norwich University next year and just found out some cool things. For one, it's a private military school in Vermont that founded ROTC way back in 1819 (offers all branches of ROTC). Anyways, the Army just provided them with a 10,000$ grant this year to buy airsoft guns for training purposes. At the school they have various platoons, i.e. SEAL platoon, Ranger platoon, Combat Engineer Platoon. Like in reality, the Marines receive M16A2s, M249s, and MP5s. However, if you are in the SEAL Platoon, you receive either an M4, M14, or AK series weapon. Then there are OPFOR weapons which include AK series, G3, and Steyr AUGs. Then there are guys that recieve those weapons and bring their own so they often have primary, secondary, and a sidearm. Its all good fun MilSim. Woo Woo.

Nice. Not to be negative about the college, and i am just throwing information out there. Be careful goign to a military institution. I've heard stories about senior master Sargeants observing new 2nt Lt. from the Air Force academy acting like 18 year olds because their school environment is so structured. So just be care about going to a military school.
