if you look on ebay, there's a couple JAC brand rifles that pop up once in a while. these are fairly old skool, there aren't many brands nowadays that produce gas rifles. have fun finding mags, though. near impossible.

Go to classicairsoft.net and look for a Sun Project M16 or Escort MP5, there are other varients, but I don't have the details.

I don't know too much about these... then again I don't think anyone does. http://rap4.com/paintball/os/rap4-airsoft-c-261.html

Most classic rifles do not feature blowback, only a select few such as the Youth Engineering MP5s and some others, a company by the name of ESCORT is taking old guns and stuffing blowback internals into them, costs beacoup bucks, makes a lot of noise, but takes lots of TLC to tune it just the way you want. Finally, most of the blowback rifles require a external air power source (CO2/HPA) to run the gun, something which you should pay attention to.

I told him how much he COULD have sold it for and hit wanted to cry. He needed the money and sold it to his friend he siad hes going to rebuy it and sell on ebay hahaha

when i was up at airsoftxtreme the other day picking up a silencer and charger for my ump i saw a gas blowback AK. it was black and looked like a 101 but it could've been a 47. any body know what that might've been? i was in a hurry so i didn't have time to ask.
Apr 23, 2007 4:13am
might've been Andrew's AK, it's got a Guarder AK "Auto-Back" kit. The bolt is connected to the gearbox so it moves back and forth as you shoot. I do not believe that AEX carries any classic gas blowback rifles.

If it was the sac store, it wasnt gas. It was a Marui AK47 with a guarder Auto-back kit.

probably. so what's this whole thing with the air supply and the rig? do these gas rifles require you to carry around a tank of gas like in paintball? because on the links at the top of this post, the one with all the classic riffle it says that they're power by a gas/ bv system. i've never heard of it before.

ya u carry an exteranl air rig in a back pack. Some of the escort ones u can run mini co2 capsules like in a bb hand gun but its good for like 30 rounds.

k. now it makes more sense.

i really like them, They are just was to pricy to use and get into. I like the escort mp5 myself with the blow back feautre its so nice.

u wanna make sure u get a long enough hose though, i made that mistake and in the middle of a game when i had it the hose got dissconnected and the gas went every where and i got light headed for a few mins and had to call blind man so i could get air, so be careful of that. Get a long enough hose for manuvering

Some companies had internal setups but external rigs can handle bigger capacities. I believe some guns had air supply in the mags (KWC I think)
Apr 23, 2007 5:14am
good lord I would deffo recommend against buying a KWC Armalite gas carbine. Have seen and used one quite extensively, thing had no hop up, and the internal gas option is, well, not really an option as one only gets enough gas to last ~4 mags tops, it doesn't take AEG mags (has a copper tube sticking out the top like the old classic rifles do), the firing sound it made was pretty badass but seriously it won't be good to skirm with.

One of the guys at AEX in Santa Clara had a few classic airsoft guns he showed me and another customer. Everything real steel besides the main body. said he orders it from a guy in japan and the guy is well known.

Tanio Koba is coming out with a line M4 and AK gas blowback rifles.

I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.

o and bout the guy further up like after me, its not a bb gun, it uses shells that have the airsoft bb's in them, my friend has one of those, they are pretty sick. a pain to find the shells though or make a shell catcher

man, if they made a reasonably priced airsoft rifle that would run off my compressed air tank i would snap that up. I fuckin hate the whole gear box and spring aspects.
