Ok, i'm confoozled...i see all these great TM guns, but its so hard to choose which gun is best for a noob like me

Pick what you like... Get something with good range and rof... don't go for a sniper right out of the gate... figure out how you like to play first...

lol its all about personal preference. head down to aex sac or the one closest to you, and get the feel of something you like. and whamo, youre in love.

buy a TM AEG in good condition, a battery (go for NI-MH types), eye protection (one thing you DO NOT want to skimp on), some mags, something to put the mags in (old web gear, chestrig, something simple to start with) and bbs. Then come out to play as much as you can, observe how the game is played, learn how the rules work, and then work on perfecting that uber SOCOM loadout, but before that, learn how to be an airsoft player first.

I started with a Classic Army, I've never understood the complaining about CA gearboxes, my m4 lasted a long time and nothing ever went wrong, Mike has it now and I know hes used it at various sacair games and loved it, maybe I got lucky. Other then that all I have owned is an M14 which now belongs to "whatshisname" so I have no experience with any TM guns other then the M14 but based on what I ve heard Id say the Ak-47, super simple gun with lots of options on customization and upgrades/add-ons. The TM ak-47. I think its pretty cheap too. Im still relatively new to the sport, been playing for like a year and a half but got my first AEG just a little less then a year ago so don't take this advice on purchasing an ak-47 to heart, I would buy my CA m4 over again, but I would hate to see you buy it and experience problems, I didn't but I could have gotten lucky who knows.

i got a TM G36C with all the fixins, 2 batteries, 5 mags, drum mag in need of glueing, sweet metal gun case, and whatever else i can find to put in there for $450. Has the redwolf high speed upgrade in it with retarded fast ROF.

I'd go with an m4, mp5, ak or m14. All are great weapons to start with, easy to customize, and reliable (as long as you go TM or CA)

Snoopy has the best rep for fixing and upgrading guns. If he can't do it, it can't be done. And first hand knowlege, that m4sd is an amazing gun. If i had 700.00 bucks, i would've bought it already. It's the best gun for it's price on the Used guns market - bar none.

i would recomend an ak, or an m4 (ca or tm) because there are so many possibilities with both. but my main recomendation is a tm ak i have a tm ak with an ak-74 muzzle brake and a 2500 round drum (thanks ferguson) and im going to get an aex durability upgrade you can do so much with either an ak or an m4 but the m4 is to popular in my opinion. good luck finding your gun
