I'll admit, I was really hardcore about paintball for about 10 years, until I saw the glory of airsoft. I'm glad I've made a smooth transition

paintball doesnt compare to airsoft

I was never into paintball because the guns were lame. The fact that they wear neon colored wet-suits now only ruins it even more.

I was a regular every weekend paintballer out at Paintball Sams, which was partially run by Predator Paintball. Awesome field of 400acres would be great for AirSoft. It wasn't your average paintball field, they had realistic setups for Rec ballers. The tourny Jeresy guys had their own little section... When sams closed I ditched paintball...

i used to pball in the neon colors neo is talking aobut lol... i played it more in the style of tag tournamants than mil sim. I like airball much more than woods for pball(couldnt stand the arcing in woodsball and how every twig made the ball break) pball guns are pretty damn awesome though i still think, crankin 17bps on timmys is awesome, hell anything that shoots a projectile is awesome to me.

I used to be a hard core paintballer, yeah with the lame $2000 guns and the neon colored jerseys.... Its funny how people "try" to compare airsoft with paintball. OK, recball is a whole lot different and I think the bulk of the recballers(mil sim) have gone over to airsoft for Mil Sim, but still most people think of neon colored paintball players. Tournament paintball is nothing like airsoft nor will it ever be anything like airsoft. The loud colors in paintball is to show attitude (sometime too much of it) and is more of an intimidation factor in some cases. Tournament games are like big parites with hot models at the games (if your lucky).

hell yea darkcobra knows whats up. i loved speedball, used to play at woodland a good bit, they had a nice hyperball and airball field, the other fields were pretty good. lol diving in the snake took its toll. i liked playing the left tape at like the 70 off the break, i am right handed so i could cros shoot it with a buddy that was left handed and played the right tape.

Pat and I are oldschool paintball players from the early nineties. Even owned a paintball shop in the bay area to pay for our paintball addiction :)

Definately (2) different games, similarites end when you say that you shoot at each other, From there you go into two different worlds.

I used to play paintball in my younger days. I remember people would absolutly hate it when we would bring super-soakers to the field, and sneak close enough up to people and drench them in our paint-filled super-soakers!! or the water balloon filled with paint! with 5 or so people you could desimate an entire base this way. :D
