Pissed off
I don't know about the no locked and loaded until game. Maybe. Me, my guns are almost always loaded. ALL of them. But guess what, I'm' not finger f*cking the trigger until my sights are on target. And I treat my airsoft guns pretty much like my real guns. As in, strict muzzle discipline. And because of that, I don't accidently shoot people. And the one or two times I did pull the trigger when I didn't completely mean to, my muzzle discipline kept anyone from getting hurt.

I will print out copies of the SacAir rules and pass them around this saturday before the game for people to read. The rules are very clear and easy to comprehend so there should be no misunderstandings.

I like the idea of safety certification cards, but what if the admins were to make a generic one, make copies of it, and issue personalized ones (Name, date, admin signatures, minor/adult, etc...) to individuals after safety testing?

although this will somewhat defeat the concept of public games, that of which being anyone can come out and play, as long as they follow the rules set by the community. I understand the need for greater control (I was on the receiving end of close range fire myself), but I believe that the relaxed atmosphere of SacAir was what attracted me to play here in the first place.
My best advice for new airsoft players:
Sounds like it can't be helped now though. People don't bother to read through the rules or use common sense when needed. They expect either admins to address every little spec on rules which is impossible and then turn around and blame the admins when one certain rule wasn't addressed before the game. It shouldn't be the admin's job to re-read the rules to everyone before every game. They're posted on the boards for a reason: for people to read!
Is anyone aware the it was His first game on a real field . He learned his lesson give him a break we all make mistakes.

Its not about just one kid. He just spawned the discussion.

I think the real problem is this "Oh well I'm an outsider. I'm not involved in the SacAir community, therefore I don't give a d4mn about these people. I'll just ignore the rules because I don't care what a bunch of strangers think of me" mentality.
Gun control is not Crime control.
[quote="Cricket"]well its a game and we all got our pains, sorrows, regreats, and pissed off times, cant we all just get over it for the time being
