I was talking to my friend the other day about airsofting and he thinks that First Person Shooters translate into real life tactics. This, to me, is a load of crap. I guess it can at a certain level, but not that much. If you airsofted like you play video games, you would never have any ammo, and come out looking like you just got hit by a mortar. Uhm, DISCUSS! Er something.

I use the bunny hop tactic.

Flashpoint and ARmA tactics work fine for airsoft.

any FPS works for airsoft

yea go play armed assault or operation flashpoint and those tactics are very realistic to actual fire fights. Then again airsoft isnt like a real fire fight.

It is all based on how you play the games... if you play with the tactic of "fuc this, I'm going to just rush, because if I die, I'll just respawn, and I'll have full ammo again," then it's perfect training for airsoft.
