Yea I'm trying to find a way to have a larger battery on my m4 ris. The first thing that came to my mind was the classic army battery box on the m15a4 ris. Does that hold a large battery? then there was the crane stock.. but thats a bit pricey.. and also i saw an ics peq 2 box with the laser. just wondering if you guys had any suggestions and what you guys may have to solve this "large battery problem" hehe
the CA box can hold a large battery but you'll have to buy a custom fit one which, depending on your connections, can be very cheap or very expensive. the ics peq2 box along with the other peg 2 boxes are a bit better. they can accept more standard batteries usually. The crane stock i believe requires some modification to the wires and also custom set up batteries. Having batt boxes makes guns somewhat front heavy but nothing really bad. crane stocks will give a bit more balance. It all is really up to you. I'd concentrate on finding a source for batteries cause that would actually be the largest money concern if you don't look in the right places.

Fortress Hobby has 3 of those batteries in stock. Don't remember the price, but he's pretty reasonable. He's got the PEQ box as well.
so it cant hold the 8.4v 7 cell battery at all? cuz thats what i have.. the box looks like it can hold it tho

Uh, I thought the point was that you wanted to fit a larger battery on the gun. The 8.4v mini is the smallest battery you can get.
