I bought a battery that is a Ni-MH 9.6v 1400mAh and my charger only charges Ni-CAD batteries.
What is the better choice?

600 mah won't last you more then a few minutes out on the field.

get a good charger it'll last you years, deffo don't buy a new ni-cad battery, it's old technology, won't last more than 2 hicaps. I'd recommend the superbrain (purple) charger, I have one and have yet to be disappointed.

nicads maybe old tech but are still great cells if they're not the generic chinese made ones. They're sufficient for airsofting if again using quality cells with enough capacity.

nah u dont need a charger just leave it out in the sun for about 5 hours, it will be fully charged 8)
