I am looking to buy a back up (project)sniper rifle. I won't start it till later this summer(July). It will be my project gun. The guns I am looking at are all springers as follows:

I'd get the Maruzen Type 96.

I just bought a Tanaka(type96)export version gas rifle that is shooting very hot for a stock gun 525-550 and maybe more on hot days...I will have to run 134a gas instead of green gas just to slow it down a bit :twisted: But I have heard that gas guns in the winter are not that great. I do not know how much of an impact "our" winters will have on a gas gun, but I will see. Anyway that is why I want to start a springer project... I am leaning toward the type96 or dragunov, they look more the role of a military sniper rifle. The Gspec looks like a deer gun to me...as well thats what it is. I know our military uses them but hell they use the barrett too and I really like that, just my wallet is not that fat...!
