The euro is strong right now, but France is an expensive place to live. There is an extreme lack of good jobs and lower paid positions are being filled by illegal labor. Europe as a whole has a HUGE illegal immigrant problem right now, mostly north africans and middle easterners trying to escape poverty. Its funny to see socialist countrys come down harder on illegals than our moron Bush. France, England, Germany and most other EU countrys have imposed harsh regulations in the last few years.
