Who makes the Best Mp5?
I'm in the market for a Mp5a4/Mp5a2, the solid stock, non silenced verison. Curious of peoples opinion on them? Who makes the best model? From the looks of it CA is the best bet for me, but before I shell out the money for a brand new gun, just want to check and see if anyone knows something I don't?
I believe Heckler & Koch makes the best MP5. I could be wrong, though.
If you into metal bodies and upgraded internals out the box, I would give a serious look into Airsoft Elite AEG's. You just need to make sure that you have a version 3.0 or above. The lower versions had a lot of bugs in them still and was crappy like its ICS brother.
Ray's got the MOVES!
I do believe that the ICS/Airsoft elite MP5s are probably the best bet for an upgraded gun out of the box. I do not know a whole lot about the new CA MP5s with the Navy receivers though. My personal opinion is that if there is a gun that already comes with a metal body I would rather have that gun than one that I would have to spend the extra 100+ dollars for the after market metal body.
I'm not so much looking for a metal body MP5, as I am one that doesn't need a lot of work. I've already got 2 mid-long range guns, I'm just looking for a decent mp5, that I can mod into a nice High ROF cqb smg. It's the next peice to my collection that I want to finish. I know nothing about AirSoft Elite Mp5s, I'll check em out.
The Heckler & Koch MP5 comes with a metal body. It doesn't need any upgrading either and shouldn't require any work. I think it fits your bill perfectly. Might be hard to get one in Kalifornia, though.
drive over to nevada border line and get your self a nevada driver's liscense and your set.

Well if you want a metal body i would get the CA MP5, then swap out the mechbox internals or the whole thing. Not really sure what it is but alot of the time the piston gets FUBARed especially after you upgrade it. Could be the gears or something. The reinforced gear box is nice though, and out of the box i believe they shoot like 350ish. I personally prefer the reliability of TM MP5s, just has a plastic body. Its your choice. I had one briefly and then fixed it and sold it and bought a used TM PDW. Anyways i like the CA just feel that the TM is way more reliable. Then again Ca may have fixed their problems with some of there guns. If you buy one leave it stock and then i think you would be ok, beside it already shoots around 350. Anyways just my 2 cents.
actually, no CA gun i've gotten so far has shot even higher than 300 out of the box. My mp5 shot 280, and my M15 shot right under 300. They do advertise they shoot at 350 stock, but shooting .12's probably.
My M15a4 shot 320fps with .20s. I'm not really sure of any of the information regarding the CA Mp5s, the M15a4 series I knew about because it was newly released. The CA Mp5s though seem some what hard to find information on, and everyone seems to have different models. I'm half temped to just go into the used market, and fix one up.
had an ics mp5- cost me 500 to fix it up and keep it running, and it still doesnt work right.
America... just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable.- HST.
I chronoed my CA M4 several times. Its never been below 332 or above 339 fps. It is stock. Its two months old with an 8000 serial number
yeah, I TM is just a name I trust, works great, scared me once, just a blown fuse....
