coyotes are open season as long as you have a hunter permit (which i have) you shoot them all day long, i have killed about 4 this year and with a .22 scope less at 100 yards is no easy task, ive TRIED to kill like 8 but they got lucky (no im not killing them at random i live in the sticks and my dog is crippled and its them or her when she dumb and wanders off so i shoot them over her.) And my TWO of my neighbors are sherrifs Placer county and they dont give a shit if i shoot a gun of any sort as long as it doesnt have a giggle switch. lol

It shouldn't be to hot at night up there. I just went yesterday up highway 45 and It got pretty hot. Whoever is going REMEMBER TO BRING WATER.
