No arguement there...I freely admit my knowledge on the mechanics airsoft kinectic energy is rather lacking, but does 50 points of fps make that big a difference? btw, we're shooting each other with bb's at rates of fire up to 10-20 rounds a minate....Don't know about ya'll, but i leave my safety concerns at the door every time I gear up. Lastly I'd like to apoligize; I was the one who yelled "*no no word* the minumum engagment rules!" at one point sunday. My blood was up, Won't happen again....and no, I diden't loose control and light someone up point blank; just yelled like I was going to.... Cheers.

hey man, I always respect the rules; I may not see the logic sometimes but irregardless I play how the admins' say we play. But whatever....

actually, all I did was make a joke regarding autofire and paintball. And then someone took offense to my opinion/cander. Sorry that you don't agree with it, but at least respect it instead of getting hostile, and for lack of a better term, kinda snobby.

imagine you are stalking a collection of bamboo. as you round the corner, you come across an opposing player, with their back to you, but by their size and height you can tell its a child, and the fact that they are wearing civilian clothing they are probably relatively new, and new to the game itself, but since you thought about all of this, the kid turns around, and seeing you, possibly a 6 foot tall 220 pound male, the kid sh!ts himself and lets out a quick burst. how is that going to feel? are you going to get mad? if so, why?

Yo Snuke lay off the guy for a while. Ya made your point and you did it quite well. The guy clearly just wants to voice his opinions but he did it in a rather harmful way. Now I believe he sees that mistake and has learned his lesson right Semite-667?

No, I would'ent get mad. Perfect example: At the "Nam 7" event 2 weeks ago, I entered a house-thingy, saw the enemy inside first, and yelled "surrender!" as per S.O.P. The dude spun around and let me have it from 3-4 feet. (still hurt from that one) He immediately apologized, and I immediately responded with "It's cool dude, go respawn." And I kept playing. The very nature of the sport breeds accidents, mishaps, and 'close encounters'. It's got nothing to do with having balls, and everything to do with participating in a hobby/sport thats inherently dangerous.

Totally, i see how the post in question might sound negative and disrespectful of the rules/S.O.P.

My Uncle (who tuaght me gun respect, how to shoot, etc.) would have a heart attack if he saw what some people do at the games

Bottom line time: I'm pretty sure most, if not all, the A.E.G.'s my squads' armoury has are 350 or there abouts anyway...Just thought the rules were getting too restirictive sunday, thats all. Again: make the bamboo strictly CQB/ pistols and springers only? might actually be kinda fun...

be cool guys. Anyway it is all about safety. The thing though is peeps forget that some people get really pissy when the get lit up close and in the face I am not mentioning names cough ## ronnie ## cough, and that puts a major crimp on the game when someone starts yelling and then changing the rules and what not. it is no fun.
