Bay Area Airsoft Coming Soon
Keep them in the bay area and away from our games. I think our cheating is at an acceptable and controllable level.

...I did not believe that the young ladies were crack ho's. Jeff indicated that in fact two of the three were a mother/daughter team. Additionally, the oar that was given to the three ladies was the newly acquired oar I had grown quite fond of. I immedaitely sent Jeff back with an oar of lesser quality as an offering of trade for the oar I had come to crave (large amount of alcohol had been consumed). Jeff complied. I being drunk, horny, and black, and still with hopes of performing an African Tea Bag ceremony on the river followed. Upon reaching the raft of the three ladies, to my shock and dismay, realized that Jeff's earlier assesment was true. There was indeed a mother/daughter team and another "friend", all of which were indulging in controlled substance. I, being a social negro, made light conversation. Highlights of conversation: Mom show me scars, and tells us of how some of her back muscle was used to rebuild her right boob. At some point the friend realizes the keys to her car are up river....

...In my state of mind I offered them a ride when we reached shore. Once Jeff pulled me back to our flotilla of rafts I realized the error of my ways and we quickly proceeded down stream to distance ourselves from the crack ho's. After about an hour we all felt we had made plenty of distance from the crack ho's and began to relax. As we went through some rapids we were alerted to the crack ho's paddling furiously (with the sh!ty oar we had traded them) toward us. After a brief attempt to out run them we realized we couldn't. Since we could not out run them we decided to make a brief stop mid stream and let them pass us by. It worked. Is we floated down we saw them pull ashore a good 500-600 yard from where we needed to pull in. We continued on and exited the river at the point down stream. As we deflated rafts we joked about the crack ho's running through the woods to catch up with us. The only thing that came to my mind was thoughts of a predator chasing game through the woods. We made it to the car and proceeded to the exit of the park. Lo and be hold at the exit to the park, the crack ho's were standing there waiting for us. Because we were in a vehicle, and we felt that crack ho's could not out run an automobile, Jeff gassed it, and we were on our we.

cocaine's a hell of a drug
My best advice for new airsoft players:
Video cameras would of made this SOOO much better. But... cameras and river rafting never mix well.

Seriously. Last I heard all the fields AA had were closed down and the forums became very inactive ( which was the reason why I left ). And yes, the G36 was sold to a RTF member. I currently have a M4 thats slowly turning into a SAM-R

So after the "Wheatland" encounter last weekend, I'm walking back to my truck from Wraith's house, and in the "industrial" section of Alameda (all 3 blocks of it) is a...well, not really sure what it is or was, but its some kind of run down factory/boat yard/thingy-place. Open ground, buildings; string up some catch nets and we're in business. The place has been run down at least 20 years now, since I was a kid. Anyone know how to say "Can we play commando in your yard?" and not sound...like we're saying it? Seriously how would you go about that? Cuase I'm bout at least trying to set one up. Plus the whole 'urban' theme appeals to me. Lord knows I love the 2 hour drives both ways every weekend, but,...yeah...'nuff said.

lol :D you SOB- lol bay area airsoft indeed! why not join our forum and become a mod? You KNOW that we'd LOVE a local place that isn't littered with 14yo's and full face masks.
Every day above ground is a good day.
of course, honesty is key in something like this. More wondering how you find someone who owns a 20+ years old derelict property. Also, its 'street-side', so boundary lines would have to be strictly adhered to, if it'd even be possiable at all...Actually, the more I think about it, the less of a good idea this sounds like. I could see an honest mistake taking out an innocent bystanders eye...Would'ent do wonders for the rep of the hobby
Ain't pimply-faced, nor am I a 14 y.o.; But I do use full face protection. (I'm an EMT, and the patients tend to frown on bloody facial scabs or bruises. Just doesn't inspire confidence for some reason... :D
yeah, the aiming is a challenge (I'm a born "hip-shooter" myself), but it can be done. What it really comes down to for me, though, is that the shooting glasses I see dudes sporting don't seem to offer that much protection; I love the sport, sure; but I love my mother too. Doesn't mean shes worth an eye, you know?

Ya I know what you mean. Those $5 shooting glasses don't inspire much confidence. There's an old motorcycling axiom--
Every day above ground is a good day.
